Full-bodied and ripe A varied wine with great drinking pleasure: The color already shines a soft ruby red with light garnet tones. The nose is very classic for this variety with hints of ripe strawberries and other berries as well as nice smoky notes. The maturation in wooden barrels also allows for a varietal sensation, which is accompanied by delicate notes of vanilla and oak. On the palate, this wine captivates with a dry, full-bodied and ripe aroma that fills the inside of the mouth wonderfully. You can even notice a slight sweetness.

Best quality and high yield A vintage full of elegance and intense acidity: 2012 was characterized by a warm spring, followed by a hot summer that lasted into September. For the grapes this meant an excellent ripeness, and for us an early harvest with the best quality and high yield. An optimal vintage for red wines.
