Freshness and drinking depth How much this grape variety is suitable for sparkling wine is clear from the first sip: dry with a stringent and wonderfully ripe acidity – clear and precise. The 18 months on the lees ensure a wonderful play of flavors. This golden-yellow shimmering sparkling wine with its nose of delicate hints of butter and fine yeast. In addition, there are discreet notes of apples and pears – a characteristic of the aromatic grape variety.

Heat ensured top wines One of the best vintages: a mild winter was followed by early blooming. However, the dreamy summer with hot spells, but without long-lasting dryness, was largely responsible for this special vintage. So, it was sometimes possible to pick early and we were delighted with the excellent grapes. An optimal basis for wines with full body, moderate acidity, wonderful aromas and an excellent aging potential.
