The colour is pale lemon yellow, classic for a young Welschriesling from our region. Restrained, gentle on the nose, quite fruity, showing apples and pears. Still youthful, with pleasant notes of development, wet stone, grapefruit, and white flowers.

Bone-dry on the palate showing slight effervescence and vibrant texture. It is lighter and slim but still quite aromatic on the palate for this delicate and rather discrete variety. An extra year of ageing helped calming its vibrancy. It finishes with a long, composed finish, inviting you to take another sip.  A perfect summer wine representing a classical style of Welschriesling from Štajerska.

This Welschriesling is not picky and will fit most of the casual foods and occasions. A great summer or BBQ wine. A real friend.

2022 winter was mild, with almost no snow. February and March were cold to postpone bud burst. Spring was warm with enough rain, flowering started on 1^st of June and finished slowly, with no issues. Summer was hot and grape ripening was accelerated. At the end of August, it cooled down slightly. Harvest started early in September and took place fast, without problems. Quantity was high and grapes were of excellent quality, similar to vintage 2021.
